Grønlandsbanken engages in many sponsorships throughout the year. Regardless of the type of sponsorship we engage in, the aim is to create a close collaboration that both parties can benefit from.
When we assess applications, we ask ourselves:
- Who benefits from the support?
- What does the bank's contribution mean?
- How can the project give us visibility?
We do not support individuals, political initiatives, study trips, or religious purposes. But if your project benefits Greenland, then we are on board.
All applications must be in writing with a description of:
Who are you?
What are you seeking support for?
Budget estimate: How much money are you applying for, and what will the bank's support be earmarked for?
Who will benefit from the bank's support?
What kind of exposure will Grønlandsbanken gain from its sponsorship support?
Have you received or applied for sponsorship support from anyone other than Grønlandsbanken?

When can you expect a response?
We evaluate applications four times a year: at the end of February, at the end of May, at the end of August, and at the end of November.
