From August 12th, you will no longer be able to use the MitID app on phones and tablets with Android 9. This is due to older devices not being able to receive the necessary security updates.
 

What does this mean for you?
Most people will not be affected, as they are already using MitID on a newer device. However, if you have an older phone or tablet, you should:

• Install the MitID app on a newer device.
• Order a free MitID code reader or code display at MitID.dk

Contact the municipality if your MitID is not working
If you are affected, please reach out to your local citizen service or your community office.
