Akiliut is our own payment card. You can use the card to pay in all the stores that display the Akiliut logo.
AkiliutMastercard Debit
With Mastercard Debit, you get an international withdrawal and payment card. Every time you use the card, the amount is deducted directly from your account.
Mastercard DebitMastercard Kredit
With Mastercard Credit, you get flexibility and security worldwide. The card offers you up to 42 days of interest-free credit.
Mastercard CreditVisa/Dankort
The combined Visa/Dankort functions as a regular Dankort in Greenland and Denmark. When you use the card in other countries, it is the Visa part that you are using.

Tips on cards
Before use
Consider your card as cash. Therefore, keep it safe both outside and at home. For example, do not leave it out in the open.
Memorize your PIN. Use a PIN reminder if you are not sure you can always remember the code. You can obtain a PIN reminder at www.dankort.dk or at Grønlandsbanken.
Never share your PIN with others – it is personal and only you should know it.
Do not use your PIN as a password or access code in other contexts.
During use
Protect your PIN when entering it. Do not let others see the code while you are typing it in.
Never sign a receipt until the amount has been entered.
Keep your receipt and save it for later verification.
Be careful with the card's magnetic stripe; if the card comes close to a magnetic field, the stripe may be damaged.
Keep an eye on the card's expiration date. After expiration, the card will be declined.
After use
Check postings on your account – via your Online banking or account statement.
Regularly verify that you have not lost your card.
React immediately if your card is lost or you suspect it may be misused.
Use of your card abroad
Use your PIN code wisely. Abroad, you should only use your PIN code at ATMs, payment terminals, and stores that display the Visa or Mastercard logo.
Remember your passport
Foreign banks will often ask for your passport if you wish to withdraw cash at the counter.
If the card is lost or stolen
Report it immediately if your card is lost or stolen. The same should be done if you suspect that your PIN has been compromised or that others are using your card or card number regularly.

You must provide your name and address, the name of your financial institution, as well as your card number, account number, or social security number. Your card will then be immediately blocked and cannot be used.
